Our beloved sisterhood was born because of the vision, courage, and commitment of 22 collegiate women at Howard University. You are the living legacy of those trailblazers. Every program you plan, every campus partnership you cultivate, and every act of sisterhood you extend carries forward the bold spirit that founded Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc..
I understand the collegiate experience personally because I lived it. I was initiated at San José State University right here in the Farwest Region, and I have been blessed to serve our sorority with 40 years of uninterrupted commitment. I know what it means to balance academics, campus dynamics, sisterhood, and service. I understand the pressure of sustaining membership and visibility—especially on predominantly white campuses where representation matters and the work can feel heavy.
Your resilience does not go unnoticed. You are leading on your campuses with courage and excellence, often navigating spaces where you must both educate and elevate. That takes strength. That takes strategy. And that takes sisterhood.
