Educational Leader
Director of Adult Education (2018–Present)
Provide executive leadership for the district’s Adult Education Program, supervising, coordinating, and evaluating all operations. Lead a team of 100 certificated and classified staff. Manage a $10M annual budget and submit quarterly expenditure reports for state and federal programs. Oversee the adoption of textbooks and instructional materials and collaborate with community partners to expand program access and services.
Co-Chair, South Bay Consortium for Adult Education (SBCAE)
(2021–Present)
Co-lead a regional consortium consisting of five adult schools and four community colleges, each represented by two voting members. Provide leadership and oversight to five consortium-wide support staff. Ensure compliance with AB 104 and AB 2098 mandates, certify all California Adult Education Program reports, and develop required state deliverables, including the Annual Plan and Three-Year Regional Plan. Foster collaborative practices across agencies and represent SBCAE on statewide committees and projects.

Serve as a voting member supporting workforce development strategies for Santa Clara County. Participate on the Youth Committee, focusing on services for individuals ages 18–24. As a member of the Executive Committee, collaborate with agency leadership to set board agendas and guide organizational priorities and program goals.
Piedmont Hills High School – Principal
(April 2007 – June 2018)
Served as principal of a 2,200-student high school, overseeing all instructional programs, staff (130 employees), budget, and operations. Managed hiring, evaluation, and personnel decisions for credentialed staff, led professional development, and supervised campus construction and facilities. Built partnerships with community and government organizations, served on the classified negotiation team, and held leadership roles as Executive Board Member and President of the Blossom Valley Athletic League.

Business Professional

In my roles as a financial and cost analyst with 3Com Corporation, Applied Materials, and BAE Systems (formerly FMC/United Defense), I provided strategic financial analysis and operational support to senior management across high-technology and defense organizations. I led budgeting and forecasting processes, delivered consistent financial reporting and variance analysis, and developed cost and schedule analyses for major contracts, including an $85.4 million international defense contract. I also contributed to cross-regional financial consolidation initiatives, helped implement a new financial management system to improve reporting quality and timeliness, and supported the development of capital appropriation procedures that strengthened project approval processes. Throughout these roles, I analyzed complex financial and operational data, identified performance issues, and recommended solutions to improve outcomes. In addition, I trained staff and managers on financial systems, supervised temporary staff on workflow and special projects, and collaborated with information systems teams to enhance financial reporting capabilities.
