My earliest memories of Soror Williams date back to her time as the collegiate advisor for Eta Omega Chapter, while I served as the advisor for Kappa Chapter. Even then, she demonstrated a strong commitment to our sisterhood and a genuine passion for developing others. Over the years, I have had the privilege of witnessing her continued growth, leadership, and dedication to Delta Sigma Theta.
During her tenure as Chair of ICT, Soror Williams brought a level of skill and expertise that truly elevated the region—skills that, to my knowledge, were unmatched at that time. She was instrumental not only in ensuring that I was always prepared and positioned for success during virtual regional events, particularly those involving past regional directors, but also in keeping the entire region operational during a time when the world was shut down. Her exceptional patience, technical expertise, and spirit of care ensured that we remained connected, engaged, and effective despite unprecedented challenges.
In her role as Northern California State Coordinator, she has proven herself to be a leader whose impact extends far beyond one geographic area. While she has diligently supported Northern California chapters, her influence and effectiveness have been felt across the entire Farwest Region.
Soror Williams embodies the leadership, vision, and collaborative spirit that our region needs at this time. She possesses the leadership skills necessary to represent the Farwest Region on the national level and will be a strong, effective advocate for the needs of our members and chapters.
She leads with purpose, serves with excellence, and uplifts those around her. I wholeheartedly support Soror Traci Mann Williams as our next Farwest Regional Director.
